WWE 2K19 Cover Athlete is Phenomenal

WWE 2K19 has finally been announced and it’s going to be phenomenal. I’m sure you caught that tagline as A.J. Styles has been revealed as the Cover Star athlete in this year’s game. We can all prepare for the bell to ring come October 9th, or October 5th when picking up the Deluxe Edition or Collector’s Edition. Curious as to what’s hiding in those special editions? So are we. As always we’re looking somewhere around WWE SummerSlam for the reveal, but you may not want to wait as long to pre-order.

As A.J. Styles began to talk to the WWE Universe one phrase stuck out repeatedly; Never Say Never. I am proud of the many accomplishments so far from A.J. and truly hope this year’s 2K19 is just as phenomenal.

We do know that there’s a new mode to be later announced that fans are hoping to hear as General Manager Mode. We also may have been hinted in the return of a showcase mode of some sort. 2K Sports are typically good at keep the office sealed off until good and ready so the we’ll be on the sidelines with an ear out.

WWE 2K19 will also have a special Million Dollar Challenge where you can literally play for a chance to win $1 Million Dollars. Who can say no to that kind of cash? Personally, I’d give it all for a week to hang out with WWE Superstars. A man can dream, right? Be prepared as 2K19 release to:

  • · Beat a to-be-announced new mode in the game
  • · Submit a winning promotional video that shows why you will beat AJ Styles in WWE 2K19;
  • · Make it to the semifinal round of competition and beat the other three semifinalists in WWE 2K19;
  • · As the finalist, compete one-on-one in WWE 2K19 against AJ Styles – and defeat him – to win one million dollars.

As we know WWE 2K19 will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One or Windows PC, we’ve yet to hear exactly what plans may be this year for the Nintendo Switch. It may not have been what players hoped for, but we’re optimistic for what’s on the horizon.
