Rey Mysterio Announced as One of Two WWE 2K19 Pre-order Bonuses

Booyaka Booyaka! 2K has taken another step in their “Never Say Never” campaign as they officially announced the first of two pre-order bonus characters, Rey Mysterio. The Master of the 619 hasn’t been seen in the WWE Games in almost four years, unless of course in community creations thanks to dedication of the WWE Universe. But thanks to his surprise appearance at the 2018 WWE Royal Rumble, his likeness and Rumble attire will be back one more time in WWE 2K19.

“Since my WWE debut in 2002, ‘Never Say Never’ – the WWE 2K19 campaign theme – has been a big part of my career,” said Mysterio. “It is an honor to join the likes of Kurt Angle, Goldberg, Sting, Ultimate Warrior and Arnold Schwarzenegger as one of two WWE 2K19 pre-order playable characters.”

We still wonder who the last pre-order bonus could be, though heavily suggested to be Ronda Rousey, the newest addition to the women’s revolution, recently transitioning from the UFC as the first female ever inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame. Almost WWE Women’s Champion, Rousey has a lot of promise in what she can bring to the ring.

WWE 2K19 will be available on October 9th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However if you pre-order the deluxe or collector’s, which will include some amazing content, expect to start your 2K19 career 4 days earlier.
