Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Demo Impression
One game that manages to get overlook by some gamers, and shouldn’t, is Namco-Bandai’s Naruto Shippuden releases. Believe it or not, some of the best fighting can be found here. And come March 5th, you’ll be able to get your hands on Ultimate Ninja Storm 3.
As for now, the demo recently released on the XBOX 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles. So while we wait for retail, we’re able to glance at what we can expect in a little under a month.
Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 kicks off with Nine Tails invading and demolishing Hidden Leaf Village. The Nine Tails is however under some type of hypnosis from a mystery man (unknown through the demo) who comes seeking domination.
The demo calls it a true story that will never be forgotten. I can say the epicness of the demo will never be forgotten!
After a village rally up for battle, you take control of Hiruzen Saritobi, as well as a few other memorable characters for this installment to battle Nine Tails.
Fighting is very simplistic, however, it helps to know your button control scheme, as it will assist you in creating a more structured battle. Choose to either use key attacks, Chakra or Shuriken, it’s your decision as to how you would like the battle to proceed.
This is at least until you are prompt for interactive actions. If you perform the actions correctly, you will participate in a battle requiring prompt button attacks based on what’s displayed onscreen. For each move performed in a timely manner, you will earn stars, allowing you to unlock secret cutscenes in the battle. However failing interactive moments will cause you to lose energy and have you reattempt the sequence.
Leaf ninjas are available in select battles as well, allowing you to call in reinforcement and control each character with your “action” button when prompted.
There’s also an awesome, but short faceoff between Minato Namikaze and the Mystery Man that even takes place. Within the battle, you can activate special factors which will initiate a unique interactive action sequence.
Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, in terms to the demo, is very dark, but not in a bad way. When the game began to build, brighter colors began to make the game feel vibrant. As for the music provided, it was the perfect fit for each scene, truly addeding that adrenaline rush feel to the action.
I can guarantee Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 will deliver a kick-ass experience come March 5th. Don’t be on the outside looking in! Down the demo today and let us know your thoughts on the game. Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 will release for XBOX 360 and PlayStation 3.
