Microsoft Studios and Pipeworks have announced a new poker game coming to Xbox 360 and Windows 8 platforms in Spring of 2013. Branded with the World Series of Poker and featuring cross platform compatibility between Xbox, Windows 8 and Windows Phone, this is sure to be a hit as soon as it hits the Marketplace. Best of all, the price tag for this new entry to “online poker” comes with a price-tag of Free, although an Xbox Live Gold Membership is required for online play.
Titled World Series of Poker: Full House Pro, the game will stay true to the thrill and excitement of the WSOP brand and offer the most in-depth and realistic poker experience to date. The game will launch as free to play and have no worries about losing your chips, you will be given a fresh stack each day! Updates and new content are already planned and in the works, making sure you’re never without a new reason to return to the tables.
One huge step is the cross platform factor here in WSOP, start a game on your Xbox 360, pick it up on your PC or Windows Phone and continue your climb up the leader-boards. This will surely increase the player base and offer even more opportunities to connect and game with your friends.
