We finally stepped into the fourth of five twisted chapters that is the Walking Dead. We’re past the “I can’t believe TellTale made this” speech. Now fanatics of the series are just stuck dab in the middle of what has so far been a heck of a journey. Call of Duty Black Ops II’s Zombie mode can’t deliver this kind of goodness. Though based on the trailer, they’re certainly trying.

All of the wonderfulness that you’ve experienced over the first three stories are here in “Around Every Corner,” but at a standstill. Kenny is still going berserk mourning his family, though trying to hide it. Omid is still limping around in Savannah while Clementine is desperately wanting to search for her parents.  And Lee, well, he just to live through all this.

The standstill is more set for the finale of the Walking Dead which saddens my poor bones as I know my two month anticipation comes to an end. Lee and the crew are in search of a boat in hopes of it leading to salvation, or at least away from the “Geeks” (you’ll learn about them in this chapter) and walkers.

There are plenty of people to interact with in Around Every Corner and happily there aren’t “all” walkers. Respectfully this chapter requires a lot more combat than any of the previous. Hand guns, shotguns, axes and more will be used in some of the most intriguing methods so far in Walking Dead.

Controls are yet again very simplistic so there is a stressful moment other than a few decisions that awaits you. Audio is back at stellar quality. Episode two was buggy and three had a few cutoffs here and there, but none of those situations were recognizable here. Again I commend the cast of the Walking Dead game for giving an above and beyond realistic feel to the voices . It really steps up the authentic feel of the players and emotions, which were top notch to be only for arcade.

I don’t have to mention this by now, but the Walking Dead is worth every red cent. Replay value is through  the roof. It’s not the typical video game, nor should it be thought to be one. I am just hoping when it all ends a game disc is created. It deserves from IRB Gamer to be considered one of the Greatest releases for 2012 and Best Arcade title available on XBOX Live Arcade and PlayStation Network.
