Today, Ubisoft “co-stared” in the Wii U Preview Event, being held in London, and had the chance to feature 3 of their titles, Assassin’s Creed III, Rayman Legends, and ZombiU, all of which are coming to the Wii U. Ubisoft also released some new gameplay features for both Rayman and ZombiU to show fans the capabilities of the Wii U.
- ZombiU: In the new footage released by Ubisoft fans get a sneak peek at one of the in game locations, Tower of London, and one of the game modes, Survival Mode, were players will only have one life. The video also featured weapons crafting that allows you to customize your equipment via the GamePad. Fans will also be able to get a limited edition “Wii U ZombiU Premium Pack” that is only available at launch and will include the game with a black Wii U console and black Pro Controller.
- Rayman® Legends: In the this video fans got to see the series creator Michel Ancel show the new 2D platform and how it creates a new gameplay dynamic. The capabilities of the Wii U GamePad™ allow for a very tactile interaction with the game world such as pulling objects and turning parts of the level around.
Both Rayman Legends and ZombiU will November 30th when the Wii U launches.
Ubisoft also has other games, currently in development, that will be available for the Wii U.
