Are you a fan of Spartacus? If you are, steer clear of this game. Rarely have I immediately hammered down the negatives in a video game, but it waves the white flag as you begin the tutorial.

Spartacus Legends is a medieval fight to the finish. As stated before, if you know the show, you know the game. When starting the game, you are already partaking in your first fight through a tutorial. In a nutshell, you can swing a sword, swing a sword (yes I said it twice), grapple and block for the most part.

You can build your momentum based on the swing of the action. If the match is in your favor, an indicator appears, displaying you as the current crowd favor, allowing you to perform finishers.

Legends does use individual rounds similar to Injustice: Gods Among Us as the loses player gets up, collecting their second wind.

In between games you can upgrade your player’s armor and abilities, which honestly isn’t work the look over. When doing so however, you’ll find some upgrades may require more gold or inventory then you currently. Fret not as you can spend your Microsoft Points away on this hideous adventure that takes you nowhere further than Sleepyville!

Kung Fu Factory seem to have taken the most mediocre route and never looked back. That or the budget was extremely low! After winning or losing fights by the way,  you can compare equipment  and see which boots outperformed yours.

As you continue to win, you will begin to unlock various sections on the map, building the overall story and character. If multiplayer is your thing, pressing the select button will allow you to quick match a worthy opponent within your own ranking. Stab and roll your way to victory.

Graphics are quite exceptional, for a free game. Characters look fairly decent, it’s just until the clunky gameplay sets in.

To simply put this review out of its misery, FREE isn’t enough to recommend this game to you! Respectfully, Kung Fu Factory has released much better product than this. I’ve played android better  than this! Keep browsing through your list of downloadable titles, because even at $0.00, it still isn’t worth it.
