This is Redbox. A successful third party business that deals with renting and some media sales on the side. If you are a gamer and you do not know what a Redbox is, you are in the dark. I’m not saying that you should have known Redbox now does games, but I’m referring to all the other game rental chains that have fallen crippled to it’s movement. So, if you are wondering where that Hollywood Video/Movie Gallery/BlockBuster went, look at Redbox.
Don’t get the wrong idea either. No one is putting any shame to Redbox from IRB. I mean, for just $2.00 a day, you can pick up some hot titles like Medal of Honor, Dead Rising 2, or Fallout New Vegas. This is cool if you happen to have a Redbox that supports games in your area. If you don’t see any games in that red machine yet, you can take assurance that you will one day.
Whether this latest move by Redbox will cause complications for others or perhaps be a failure within itself, only time will tell. So now that you know, tell me readers; what do you think of this?
