Pokémon Go Popular Beyond Belief: T-Mobile to Offer Free Data
Regardless if you’re a fan or not, no one can deny the phenomenon of Pokémon Go. To be honest, I personally couldn’t stand those two words post launch. But the second I gave it a chance it was easy to understand exactly why so many people are hooked on Pokémon Go.
My first experience was in a mall that opened the entire world to me all at once; from the Pokestops to the gyms, even managed to nab a Jiggly Puff and a Mew. It’s addicting on so many levels and pretty unique how it utilizes your GPS in real time. But that’s also a curse.
Using your GPS eats at your data and your data can change the average price of your cell phone bill. Luckily for T-Mobile subscribers the service provider will be partnering with developer Niantic Labs, offering free data on this “one app – Pokémon Go” for a full year. So as early as July 19th via “T-Mobile Tuesdays app” you can claim the FREE offer to catch them all.
While playing Pokémon Go the game clearly states to be aware your surroundings, unfortunately there have been multiple issues from people being hit by cars, falling off a cliff, robberies are more. While looking at your phone remember to be aware of where it leads you. No game is worth your life.
