As we embrace all of the mainstream titles that released on the Xbox One, there were also a few gems that surfaced in the Microsoft store. One of those well-known titles is Peggle 2. Pop Cap tends to create a few games that stick with you like Zuma and Plants vs. Zombies. And Peggle is another title well worth the observation.

Just like the original Peggle it’s not necessarily about when you win, but how you win as well. There are multiple levels, each one being taught by different Zen masters. My favorite master in Peggle 2 is a cross between Berg and Luna. Luna is a dead zombie with the ability of floating through blue pegs, scoring you as many orange pegs as possible. Other Peggle masters abilities will prove to be of importance depending on the level design.

You only get 10 chances, but based on your skill level you can earn more balls to keep the game going. While the main objective is to clear all of the orange pegs, going above and beyond,Peggle-2 completing side objectives will place you high in the leaderboards. After hitting all of the orange pegs, you can earn anywhere from 10,000 to 100,000 points.

If you can however manage to get every peg on the level before using all of your balls, you will get a ultra fever bonus, allowing you to automatically earn 100,000 points. Other bonuses include, clearing all pegs, earning so many skill shots and more.

Peggle 2 has the same graphics as its all cartoon based. It’s a game that makes you wonder how something so simplistic can draw you in for hours. Not only can you play and unlock all levels and trials but you can also challenge friends and gamers through online multiplayer. It’s here where you can truly be defined as a Peggle Master.

Well worth every dime and available on the Xbox One for under $20, it’s worth the investment. You’ll be surprised how much fun you’ll have!
