Been keeping an eye out for this one for some time and you should be eagerly waiting for the 19th of this month to role around too. Outer Brain, the studio behind Organ Quarter have been working on this game for some time and even had their game successfully funded on Kickstarter. But anyone can mock up something real quick and pitch a Kickstarter right? Well, Outer Brain had the gumption to take itself to Steam with a Pre-Alpha demo. Naturally this is where I first experienced it last year after purchasing my own Vive setup.
The demo was short and sweet but hit all the right notes with a Silent Hill/David Lynch ambiance. The tones in the demo alone really sparked up great interest into what the game might become. Sure, it was a little rough around the edges but the limitations of VR would evolve as game engines become more adept at rendering worlds in virtual space. The trailer and screenshots we’ve picked up over the year have shown real world progress and for that I can’t imagine what other horrors they’ve managed to hide for us. If you would, follow them on Twitter and keep an eye out on the official Steam page.
Organ Quarter will be available for Oculus Rift and Vive respectively.
