505 games announces a new farm simulator for the Wii-U, Funky Barn. Tantalus is working with 505 Games to bring their collection of whacky contraptions and assortment of accessories to the sandbox genre in ways never before implemented thanks to the Wii U GamePad. Players can pick up their animals and interact with them one-on-one, manage the various farming machines, and construct buildings to house your livestock. Players can even shake fruit from the trees with all-new GamePad gyroscope.
Tim Woodley, Head of Global Brand at 505 Games said
“The Wii U is an important and very exciting development for the games industry. It truly marries traditional platforms with the intuitive, tactile touch screen technology that everyone uses on a day to day basis. With Funky Barn we have combined the technological advances with unique humour, crazy machines and, most importantly, a lot of fun for gamers of all ages.”
Funky Barn is set to release late this year, Winter 2012.
