No Hope Left Cinematic Trailer- Part of the RE6 viral campaign.
Capcom has announced that multiplayer mode DLC will be available for download following closely behind Resident Evil 6‘s release. The new modes were opted in to enhance the Resident Evil 6 experience and expand on multiplayer side possibilities. Three different modes come available in the first pack (Survivor, Predator, Siege) and each vary in objectives and play-style.
This mode is based on your foundational solo and team-based versus mode. What sets this mode apart from your classic deathmatch mode is the rules that are applied around the gameplay. If you get killed as a human you will respawn as an enemy character with the ability to attack the human characters. If you take down two human characters as an enemy, you become resurrected in human form.
The last man or team standing wins the match.
At the start of the game, one player takes control as the Ustanak, the fearsome B.O.W. that stalks Jake Muller throughout his campaign, and tries to eliminate the human players. The humans must take down the Ustanak or last long enough and survive the match.
This mode is your basic “protect the VIP” situation. At the start of the game, players and their team will be tasked with protecting a single NPC. An enemy team will be pitted against them whose task is to execute the VIP. If the NPC is still alive at the end of
the time period, the human team wins.
Survivors, Predator, and Siege modes will all support up to six players online and be played using maps from Mercenaries Mode. Perfornamce and statistics can also be tracked in these modes as well by using ResidentEvil.Net, a free service by Capcom.
