Mega Up: Upload if You Can, one of the shortest reviews ever because there is just not much to this game. The gameplay has you jumping over obstacles which range from “Internet Swat” Vans to SOPA signs and what appear to be government agents. That is the game in it’s entirety. It is a simple one button game with “A” to jump. I am just guessing but I think this game was meant to inform people about SOPA and why we should NOT let it pass. A noble cause, but without any background information on SOPA it defeats the purpose.
The farther you get without hitting an obstacles the more megabytes you are “uploading”. This is just in place of a distance or score. There are leaderboards for your score, which they call “Online Leaderboards”, but I am not convinced that these are actually online scores. The best part of this Indie game is the music which plays as you are “uploading”. It is rock-esque instrumental which is pretty upbeat. That being said if this game were on Xbox Live Arcade for five or 10 dollars I would tell you to avoid it at all costs, but because this is an indie game and only costs 1 dollar (80 msp) it isn’t that bad. Check out the video below and if you think the gameplay is interesting then I would tell you to buy it. Other wise save your hard earned buck.
