You’re Wasting My Time!

Just when you thought that campaign and a bit of multiplayer would be the sum of Max Payne 3, Rockstar Games keeps the ball rolling. Rockstar have just announced two arcade modes for Max Payne 3.

The First arcade mode is Score Attack. After completing the story, you have the opportunity to replay the story in a score-based fashion. Your score will be based on accuracy, how you take them down and who the specific takedown was.

If you’ve followed the story and played the first two installments of  Max Payne 3, then you may remember the New York Minute Mode after completing the story. Think of it this way for you newcomers:

One minute on the clock! On your mark, get set, shoot!

Never Saw It Comin’!

It’s the classic time attack mode where each kill awards you additional time. Keep in mind your surroundings, as it just may compliment you and award you a bit more time.

Both modes are ranked from Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. In addition to your rank, you’ll also unlock XP to support your multiplayer sessions. The XP can be used to open different load outs for you as you Slow-Motion your way around with your crew. Managing to get platinum rankings will not only do this but also unlock some exclusive multiplayer avatars.

So stop procrastinating and get that last minture pre-order in now. Max Payne 3 Releases for XBOX 360 and PlayStation 3 May 15th, 2012.
