Loadout, a new “Free-2-Play” multiplayer shooter that will be available later this year, reminds me of Team Fortress 2 with its colorful and bloody characters. Loadout is a game where players invent and customize their own array of weapons to carry into battle, and much like TF2 it will launch as free to play this year.
Players will earn new weapon parts, character customizations, equipment, and accessories as you gain prestige. The more you play, the more you can customize.
What makes this game unlike any that have come before is its customization. It stays away from characters and goes straight to weapons. Players can customize their weapons like never before. They can customize everything from the way it looks to the way it operates. Damages appear to be set by attachment though, so no need to worry.
You can also play this game with a 360 controller if that’s your thing.
