It’s Time to Talk College Football: NCAA Football 14

EA Sports is beginning to talk up NCAA Football news and it’s already doing more than raising a few eyebrows and questions. Overall the past several years, NCAA and Madden NFL Football have went back to back in delivering the hottest football game of the year. In the end however, it’s EA Sports dominantly going home with the win.

“This year marks the greatest leap forward in a generation for the NCAA Football franchise,” said Randy Chase, Marketing Director for EA SPORTS. “The inclusion of the Infinity Engine and several new gameplay features make this year’s game feel incredibly fresh and authentic, and the introduction of Ultimate Team will give fans the chance to take the field with some of the most well-known players of all time.”

Madden NFL 13 delivered realism to your doorstep, knocked, then made itself at home with the new Infinity Engine. Of course we also seen the flaws of the new engine as players stumbled over each other in a domino-like fashion. But it’s also impossible to deny change it brought to gaming. Now, NCAA Football will be the first of the two to mechanically embrace Infinity Engine 2.

With Infinity Engine 2, EA hopes to unlocks the unpredictability and innovation of college football with the introduction of real-time physics and the new force impact system. In addition to the engine will be 30 new play options, which seems to build on the read and react system, allowing gamers to have better projection and find the best timing in handoffs, pitching or needing to keep hold of the ball.

Of all the upcoming news to come, NCAA Football Ultimate Team has to be one of the biggest announcements on its way. So many questions to ask, though we know our answers will appear in the coming weeks.
