Kung Fu Factory, developers of the upcoming, all-female digital fighting game Girl Fight, just announced the first character. Wrench is Girl Fight’s tank class, which means she can do some real damage to her opponents. Wrench entered MIT at the young age of 15 coming out with majors in engineering, computer science and physics. Wrench is a 2012 Nobel Prize winner for advancing science, medicine, and military transport.
Each character in Girl Fight has their own home arena, and Wrench’s is Mech Battle. Mech Battle is a mix between an ultimate garage and a mech battle ground. Girl Fight is a 3D arcade-style fighting game with girls fighting their way out of a shadowy scientific organization who wishes to turn psionic fighting abilities into weapons. Girl fight offers the player with the choice of many different female fighters, and a wide array of areas to fight in.
Girl Fight features are to include:
- Fighting Styles and Character Options: Players can select from a wide range of distinct fighters, each with their own fighting style. Players can even create their own experience by customizing their fighter’s appearance and abilities.
- Unlockables and Customization: Players will find a robust set of unlockables to further customize their characters by proving themselves as the ultimate femme fatale in the ring. Points can unlock new character skins, more varied abilities and codex entries.
- Arenas: Girl Fight takes the players all across a virtual globe in many different arenas, filled in by augmented reality constructs. From war-ravaged San Francisco to the rubble of demolished Foundry buildings, reality and fiction blur in the virtual arenas.
Girl Fight is going to be coming to Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network soon.
