It was announced by Disney Interactive that its highly anticipated title, Disney Epic Mickey 2, will be making its way to the Nintendo Wii U this holiday season.
For those of you who do not know, Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two is about the return of our favourite mouse Mickey, but this time he is partnered up with Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Disney Epic Mickey allows you and a friend to team up in the Wastland, an alternate world that is filled with more than 80 years of Disney’s forgotten characters and of course their theme park attractions. Mickey with his magical paintbrush and Oswald with his powerful remote control are going to take on this beautiful and epic world.
Bill Roper, the Vice President of General Manager Products and Disney Interactive had this to say about the release of Epic Mickey to the Wii U:
“It’s exciting to bring Nintendo fans ‘Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two’ on Nintendo’s revolutionary new game system. The technological advances of the Wii U system have allowed us to enhance player direction and provide our fans with an immersive as well as unique gaming experience.”
When players use the Wii U GamePad they will be able to see a full and detailed, real-time, map of the Wasteland. It will be complete with waypoints and markers to guide you on your adventure. Not to mention the ability to access sketches for in-game use.
Disney Epic Mickey is rated E for everyone and will be available Novemeber 30th.
