Destiny: Rise of Iron Expansion Launches This September

Destiny is returning with new level caps, new weapons and most importantly a new installment. Rise of Iron has officially been announced by Bungie/Activision. Earth’s newest discovery, The Plaguelands will be the set for Rise of Iron.

Under the command of Lord Saladin you will face a new faction of Fallen Devils, the Splicers, while unravelling the mystery of the Iron Lords. Rise of Iron features new weapons, armor and gear, as well as a new cooperative three-player Strike, a new mode and maps for the Crucible competitive multiplayer and an all new six-player cooperative Raid.

Specifically in addition to the new expansions, players can look forward to the following:

Gjallarhorn is back. §  ALL Rise of Iron players, regardless of purchase place, time, etc., can earn the Gjallarhorn after completing a specific quest in Rise of Iron.
