October 13th slowly approaches and as we near closer to that date, you can expect more Zombies news to spread into the wild. This latest Zombies reveal really does show us a lot in regards to the new steps Treyarch has made. The bits and pieces of the locales shown in the trailer are no doubt from the “objective campaign” version of Titled Tranzit. Four players team up and conquer a wide-spread variation of environments in a small town setting. It doesn’t appear to be your “by-the-book” survival mode and is really quite interesting to ponder over.
Notice in the trailer that a bus can be used to transport you all over these varied locations. The question may arise, “how does the bus steer itself or will someone have to drive it?” I would hope the answer comes as the later in the question. Let’s be more realistic here and have one player sit out at the driver of the bus. I would imagine the journey is on-rails but still, the whole concept is quite a ponder. There are even rumors you have the option to travel to each section on foot. Whether that is a good idea at all is to be seen when we get our hands on Zombies later this year.
There is also another thing that should grab your attention. At the end of the trailer, I know a good bit of people might think that is a motorcycle at the end. I wouldn’t put it past Treyarch to put a motorcycle in the mode at some point but as it stands now, what you see at the end is not that. Speculation has arose once more and players now think it could potentially be the “Thunder Gun” we have all waited for since World at War. If that is actually the case is to be determined as well.
The video does certainly raise the adrenaline levels and get you excited. Sure, it doesn’t tell us the whole new concept or show us every little detail, but what would be the fun in that? Zombies should be best fully experienced at the point of your controller this October.
