At the opening conference for this year’s E3, Bethesda shocked the internet by revealing the much-anticipated Fallout 4 is dropping this year. That’s right, on November 10, 2015, the world will be able to play Fallout 4 in all it’s glory.
Now that we’ve all gotten that out the way, lets talk about Fallout 4 and why it will be a great game.
First and foremost, for those who want a little change of pace, you can now play as a female character in Fallout 4. A brand new character customization feature that rivals a game like the Sims 4, lets you change every single feature about your character. It is also the same system used to generate unique NPC’s throughout the game.
Fallout 4 also introduces a great crafting and building system that allows you to create, develop and defend your own settlements in the game. You can build multistory homes, defend your gates and create your own little piece of paradise. Oh yeah, you can also build turrets and burn the faces off of bandits but, let’s just focus on the pleasant things here.
But wait, there’s more! You can intensely customize your guns using the new gun customization system. With parts to be found everywhere, no gun will ever be the same. You could essentially play this game many times through and have different favorite guns each time!
For a game kept in secret for who knows how long, it’s very evident they paid close attention to every detail in this game. The graphics are amazing, the environments are authentic and the characters are detailed and full dimensioned. This is seriously a Fallout game that not only breaks the mold, it sets a whole new one.
Those wanting to live the full Fallout 4 experience can get a collectors version of Fallout 4 that includes a Pip boy that you can put your phone into and, using an app, control your stats, settings and equipment in the game.
Even more, if you have an iOS device, you can play a free game called Fallout Shelter that releases tonight. In Fallout Shelter, you can create, control and manage your own fallout shelter. It isn’t a pay to win game and you don’t need to be connected to the internet to access it.
There is so much to this game it’s hard to sum up, so if you get a chance you should definitely check out the entire conference of E3 by watching the video below:
Now go! Go and reserve your copy of Fallout 4 today! November 10th is just around the corner.
