The General Manager for Visceral Games – who also happens to be the Executive Producer for Battlefield Hardline – Steve Papoutsis has recently made a blog post about the upcoming Battlefield Hardline beta.
Still hush, hush on all the details, it has at least been confirmed that the beta will be open to everyone and available on all formats. The beta will allow players to use new gadgets, and learn the game by playing two different maps and modes.
One mode called “Hotwire” is a completely new mode for the series and focuses on combining vehicles and infantry power, while still allowing players the opportunity for a no holds barred 64 match in the traditional Battlefield mode, Conquest.
“While it’s just a taste of the whole game, we want you to come in, take your jacket off, stay a while. There won’t be a cap on the max progression level so whether you’re busting criminals or fleeing the cops, unlock away. We want you to play this beta to death. We need you to. This test is only going to make the game stronger, and help us take a look at ways we can ensure we deliver the most stable launch you deserve. We’ll see you on the streets of Battlefield Hardline soon.”
Battlefield Hardline will be available in the United Kingdom on March 20, 2015.
