European Dragon Ball Z fans are in for a good treat, come this October, when Namco Bandai Games Europe delivers some exclusive goodies. The latest DBZ title, Dragon Ball Z for Kinect, will include the “Episode of Bardock”, an episode of the anime that has never previously been available in Europe. In addition, Dragon Ball Z for Kinect will allow players to play as Bardock Super Saiyan for the first time ever in the history of Dragon Ball video games.
Dragon Ball Z for Kinect is the first DBZ title to take on the power of Kinect and deliver the DBZ experience in a first-person perspective.
Dragon Ball Z for Kinect will include over 100 moves for use on your enemies, including the well-loved Kamehameha. Better yet, this title is loaded with epic battles, famous attacks, and over 50 iconic characters authentically recreated from the original manga series. Dragon Ball Z for Kinect will also support QR code functionality, allowing fans to hold up and scan special QR codes to unlock characters and power-ups in the game. Perhaps there will be a new trading card sensation with these codes? If so, that is some pretty good marketing.
This game isn’t that far away and with such a good combo of universe, technology, and genre, we can only hope that this game will be able to compete with the well-loved Tenkaichi series. Dragon Ball Z for Kinect will be available October 2nd.
