Aeria Games announced yesterday that their FREE-to-play horror shooter F.E.A.R Online will be aviable for download on October 17th on Steam. With this announcement comes the opportunity for players to sign up for the beta.
Gamers and fans alike will be able to experience an all new and very terrifying game within the F.E.A.R. franchise. An earlier Closed Beta allowed the developers to recieve player feedback giving them the opportunity to make changes to gameplay and do any necessarly redesigns to ensure an awesome and unique first person shooter game. Fans will get to see a new scenario, with new maps, as well as a completely redesigned crafting system allowing players to craft unique weapons. Giving F.E.A.R fans exactly what they asked for!
Dr. Pascal Zuta, the CEO of Aeria Games had this to say about the announcement,
“We are excited to introduce F.E.A.R. Online to millions of PC gamers with the launch on the Steam platform. Taking player feedback to heart, our team has redesigned elements of the game that are most important to players to deliver an experience that we hope will please the vast and dedicated fan base of the F.E.A.R. series.”
Just to give you a little insight into F.E.A.R. Online, the F.E.A.R. task force is investigating some unsettling experiments. Fans will get to enjoy several combat modes covering more than 10 maps all packed with “chilling details.” Parrellel to the F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin story, the story in F.E.A.R. Online will contine its cooperative scenarios. You will be able to team up with up to four players fighting both the hostile Armacham and gruesome monsters.
