Destiny is Bungie’s first and most ambitious title after parting ways with Microsoft and joining forces with Activision. This MMOFPS-esque type game has elements that I’ve always wanted in a shooter: It looks like it controls much like Halo, you get to customize your abilities and appearance, it has a slight Star Wars feel, Marty O’ Donnell’s signature sound, menacing enemies, Lootfest galore, and you get to have your own ship, go into space, and fight on another planet (Pluto still counts in my book)!
There been a lot of Destiny stuff worth mentioning, but there are three in particular that would be very interesting to many who are just begging for some Destiny goodness:

There are also prerequisites that must be met in order to access the beta that will take place in early 2014:
- Own either a PS4 system, PS3 system, Xbox One, or Xbox 360 with valid online subscription membership
- Have a unique PlayStation Network ID or Xbox LIVE Gamertag
- Have a bungie.net account. (This can be created at www.bungie.net)
In order to activate the redemption code you will need to:
- Log on to www.bungie.net/beta
- Complete the redemption code process as outlined on the website

There has been no exact release for Destiny just yet, but The Moon trailer suggested a Spring 2014 launch window, coming to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
